Research project ICIIT Intelligent Cargo infrastructure for intermodal Transport Chains

Evaluation studies clearely point out that combined traffic in comparison to road transport on the one hand entails longer distances but on the other hand reduces emissions in a significant way. In the context of the research project ICIIT, TRAFFIX intends, in association with specialized partners, to set up a multidimensional decision-making base for the optimiziation of planning, organization and booking of transport chains.
